In the philosophy of Laozi and Zhuangzi, the Dao is the origin of all things — formless yet generative, empty and still yet boundless. Its unfolding, “the Dao gives birth to One, One to Two, Two to Three, and Three to all things,” echoes across time with quantum physics: from quantum fluctuation to the emergence of particles, from the microscopic to the macroscopic.
Particle sets out to explore this deep resonance between Eastern and Western wisdom. Instead of a linear narrative, we built an abstract space made of particles. Negative space, rhythm and breath, the interplay of emptiness and form — the visual language of Eastern aesthetics turns abstract philosophy and scientific theory into a perceptible, poetic space. The viewer is no longer a passive recipient of knowledge, but a witness to and a participant in the making of the universe.
It is a meditation on origins, a dialogue across civilizations, and an attempt to reinterpret ancient wisdom through contemporary technology.
